Rise South City has launched their Community Forestry Campaign!

We’re committed to planting 700 trees by 2027, building greener, healthier, and more climate-resilient neighborhoods across South San Francisco.

Our Goal:

Rise South City is committed to planting 700 trees by 2027 across our local communities. By the end of 2025, we will have planted and distributed 200 trees, a milestone made possible by supporters like you.

Our Giving Tuesday Goal:

Our goal is to raise $5,000 to expand both our tree-planting work and our environmental education programs.

​

With your generosity, $5,000 will fund four quarterly community education sessions through our free Mobile Clinic. These sessions will bring environmental knowledge, hands-on learning, and tree-care resources directly to residents. We will serve residents in South San Francisco, with a focus on neighborhoods with low urban tree canopy cover. As we expand our reach, we get closer to our goal of 700 trees by 2027!​
