Our Values

On A Mission To Create Change

Rise South City is committed to creating dialogues with our frontline communities about climate change & social equity issues and to learn about the different intersectional systems that underpin it and help develop local solutions for transformational reform. We promote community resilience, economic equity, and climate stability.

Vivir Bien

Vivir Bien means that we can live well without living better at the expense of others. Community residents have a fundamental human right to clean, healthy and adequate air, water, land, food, education, and shelter.

Guiding Principles

Everything we do at Rise South City is guided by the existing principles of Environmental Justice and the Jemez Principles for Democratic Organizing guide our work.
